Consulting & Bookkeeping, Inc, d/b/a NewCorpSetup was founded in 1993 and provided accounting services to small businesses. As NewCorpSetup grew, we noticed that small businesses operating as sole proprietors would often inquire about becoming incorporated, as S corporations or LLC’s due to the tax benefits and professionalism of becoming incorporated. We decided to offer incorporation services for simple incorporation’s with fees substantially lower than attorneys’ fees. NewCorpSetup assists our clients with the beginning stages of their new business.
Proficient in QuickBooks since 1996, NewCorpSetup provides Quickbooks setup and training. We offer over the phone support as well as PC support through remote access, which allows us to connect to our client’s computers through a reliable and safe platform to quickly solve any issue presented.
Among our current services that vary from monthly and quarterly bookkeeping we include Bi-annual reviews in which we will evaluate the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss statement categorizations and make any necessary adjustments, communicate with the client’s Certified Public Accountant for additional journal entries for depreciation, and in-office visits one to two times per week or on an as-needed basis. We enjoy assisting clients with questions on QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
We have developed expertise in the Not-For-Profit sector of accounting. These services included setting up restricted and non-restricted grants, track the spending related to each grant, work with agencies preferred reports tracking grant spending, collaborate with CPA’s for the year end audit to gather necessary information to perform audits, handle fundraising income and expense activity, set up non-profit merchant credit card accounts, work closely with Executive Directors setting up company budgets, and attend board of directors meeting if necessary to provide additional financial information.
